Meet Dr Paul Chung
Dr Paul Chung graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of British Columbia
Born in Korea and raised in Surrey, he is now excited to call Vancouver Island home. Dr. Chung recognizes the importance of listening to patients and prioritizes patient comfort. His calm, gentle demeanor ensures that anxious patients can receive care with ease. He stays up to date with latest advancements in dentistry through numerous continuing education courses. Dr. Chung recognizes the importance of giving back, and has been involved with the UBC Community Volunteer Dental Clinics and has travelled to northern BC and Jamaica to provide dental care to underserved communities.

Dr. Paras Lakhani is a dedicated and compassionate dentist with years of experience in providing comprehensive dental care. She did her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the well-renowned Government Dental College in Ahmedabad, India in 2016 and then Practiced as General resident dentist for few years before moving to Canada. She graduated from Challenging Canadian Equivalency process in January 2024 and has since built a reputation for delivering high-quality treatments in a comfortable and patient-centered environment.
With a focus on preventive care, restorative procedures, and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Paras is committed to helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health. She stays current with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques, ensuring her patients receive the most effective and up-to-date care available.
Dr. Paras believes in building strong relationships with her patients, taking the time to understand their unique needs and concerns. Her gentle approach and attention to detail helps patients understand their oral health care needs and appreciate her ability to make dental visits as stress-free as possible.
Dr. Paras is actively involved in continuing education and professional development. She is a member of British Columbia dental association where she collaborates with peers to stay at the forefront of the dental profession.
When not in the clinic, Dr. Paras enjoys traveling with her family and spends time doing yoga routinely, which help her maintain a well-rounded and balanced life. She is passionate about giving back to the community and often participates in outreach programs to provide dental care to those in need.
